Brian Morgan and them boys (Jon Boy, Alex and a few others) have been kicking butt and taking names when it comes to getting the club prepared for summer food plots. The seed has been bought for the food plots and they plan to start planting this weekend; 05/21/16 & 05/22/16. The group chose to go with quality over quantity for this year’s summer food plots. More money was spent on preparation to insure we get a good yield of peas and hemp for the deer. Along with summer food plots, Brian and his boys have been placing and filling several troughs and pipe feeders around the club. Don’t be caught of guard when you see a cluster of 55 gallon drums of corn at the camp. We’ll continue to feed corn until two weeks prior to the 2016/2017 deer season. Many of the feeders are along main roads so don’t be surprised if you run up on an occasional deer during feeding times. If you have any questions about the clubs summer food plot & feeding program or would like to provide seed and plant additional plots, check with Brian. He’ll get you headed in the right direction.
