It’s hard to believe the 2016/2017 season is coming to an end and what a season it has been! The hard work, extra effort and countless hours each and every one of you spent working at the club paid off big time! I, along with the board members and officers couldn’t be prouder to have been a part of such an awesome group of members. You all deserve a big pat on the back and thank you for making this a year to remember.
On to business (and fellowship), it’s time for another club shindig. The annual election meeting/cookout will be held at the pole barn Saturday, February 11th at 11 am. Nominations and elections will begin around 11:15 am and we’ll eat around noon. After the meeting and once we all have a belly full, we plan to have an afternoon club ride in hopes of seeing some of those ole sad daddy’s that got away. Everyone is invited and encouraged to join in on the ride. Brian has something special planned for the youth/s who harvested the biggest buck and biggest doe. Make sure the kiddo’s are there.
The club will be cooking good ole’ Boston butts and I’m sure they’ll be some processed meat somewhere to be gnawed on (sausage, red hots & hot dogs). The rest of the fixings and desert will be potluck. “Bring a dish if you wish”
This will be a day to wind down after a long season and sit back and enjoy fellowship between members. I’m sure some tall tales will be told as well.
We look forward to seeing everyone there!
